The OnStage Playhouse is the only live community theatre in Chula Vista, the second largest city in San Diego County. The OnStage Playhouse theatre operates year round, producing six or more plays per year. The OnStage Playhouse has an intimate theater seating capacity of 60 for playgoers. The venue is located in Chula Vista's historic downtown Third Ave.
The OnStage Playhouse is a member of the Associated Community Theatres of San Diego County, an organization consisting of 15 community theatres in San Diego County which have joined together to improve the quality of theatre in the San Diego area.
