Park Highlights

Named for the commercial fishing industry in San Diego, Tuna Harbor Park is a wide peninsula that extends into San Diego Bay. Tuna Harbor Park is located along the Embarcadaro at the foot of G Street, north of Seaport Village and south of the USS Midway Museum and Maritime Museum of San Diego.

On the south side of Tuna Harbor Park, next to Tuna Harbor, is a wide walkway which makes its way to Fish Market, at the point of the park. The north side has a narrower walkway with a grassy area, trees, two of the war memorials, and a great view of the USS Midway Museum. At the tip of the park, next to the restaurant is a nice viewing area of the bay, with benches.

Tuna Harbor Park features 4 war memorials:

  • USS San Diego (CL-53) Memorial
  • Battle of Leyte Gulf Memorial
  • Large Sailor Kissing Nurse Statue
  • National Salute to Bob Hope and the Military
