The bayside park has a spectacular view of San Diego Bay and the Coronado Bay Bridge. The park is one of the most beautiful in San Diego County.

Along the park's waterfront is a scenic bike path that extends from the Silver Strand to the Old Ferry Landing. Tidelands Park also has a small, sandy beach, which people use to launch kayaks and small boats.
