Park Highlights
Memorial Park is a long, narrow grassy expanse on a slope with windy walking paths, shade trees, a recreation center, gymnasium, pool, and an outdoor amphitheatre.
Located just east of the park are the Third Ave Historic Village and Chula Vista Heritage Museum.
Memorial Park is the second oldest park in Chula Vista. The land was acquired in 1937, and park amenities include an amphitheater, municipal gymnasium, restrooms, and a swimming pool.
The park is located in the City's "Downtown" area, and is also the site of the City's Memorial Monument dedicated to our armed forces who made the ultimate sacrifice, dating back to World War II.
Memorial Bowl
Memorial Park provides a beautiful setting for the Memorial Bowl.
The Bowl, with seating for 700, annually hosts the Village Vibes Summer Concert Series, and may also be rented for private weddings and other events.
