Centennial Park Highlights
Beautiful views of San Diego Bay
Centennial Park is majestic looking, extending from Orange Avenue to San Diego Bay, with a first class view of downtown San Diego. The original ferryboat ticket booth and a rose garden are located near the Centennial Park Orange Avenue entrance. A wide sidewalk runs through the park’s length with seating areas in between.
At the opposite end of the park is seating, with views of downtown San Diego and plush landscaping. A bayside sidewalk connects Centennial Park to Ferry’s Landing Restaurants and Shopping to the south, where you pick up the Harbor Ferry to the San Diego Embarcadero. There is a nice small sandy beach next to the landing with several retail shops and restaurants behind. Continuing along the sidewalk south beyond that point is Tidelands Park, a large bayfront park with a large grassy area, sports fields, a playground, sandy beach and bike path.
