BEACHES
Ferrys Landing Beach
Small, sandy beach in front of Ferrys Landing, overlooking the San Diego Bay. Pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere. The beach is nice to layout on and you can swim in the gentle water. Ferrys Landing Pier is next to the beach. The beach is directly in front of Ferrys Landing shops and restaurants in Coronado, CA. There's a narrow grassy area between the beach and shops, also an ideal spot to kick back.
Tidelands Park Beach
This is a small sandy beach within Tidelands Park. The beach includes an exercise course and is a good place to launch kayaaks and small sail boats. The beach is next to a cement boardwalk that connects Tidelands Park to Ferrys Landing and Centennial Park.
SHORELINE PARKS Tidelands Park
Tidelands Park, a 22-acre park, has a spectacular view of the San Diego Harbor and the Coronado Bay Bridge. The park is one of the most beautiful in San Diego County. Along the waterfront is a scenic bike path that extends from the Silver Strand to the Old Ferry Landing.
Centennial Park
Centennial Park is majestic looking, extending from Orange Avenue to the bay, with a first class view of downtown San Diego. The original ferryboat ticket booth and a rose garden are located near the Orange Avenue entrance. A wide sidewalk runs through the park's length with seating areas in between. The park is just south of Ferrys Landing, and connected by a cement boardwalk.
SHOPPING AREAS
Ferrys Landing Restaurants and Shopping
Located on the eastern shore of Coronado Island, Ferrys Landing Restaurants and Shopping is a collection of restaurants, specialty and gift shops, and art galleries. You can rent a bicycle along the waterfront pathway, or eat at the Bayside Cafe, on the waterfront. Occasionally, festivities and music events take place in the small park beside the beach and pier.

Coronado Farmers' Market
Tuesdays, at Ferrys Landing. Fresh fruit and vegetables from local farmers. Great bay view.

Several small and mid-size hotels. Quaint downtown boutique hotels. Grand old seaside resort with private beach. Major San Diego Bayfront resort.
