Old Town Village boasts great restaurants, a general store, gift shops, antique stores, and more along
San Diego Avenue and adjacent streets. It’s also the location of the infamous Whaley House, a Victorian mansion and historical museum complete with resident ghosts.
While Old Town Historic State Park is the center of Old Town's history, several museums and historic sights can be found in the village.

First two-story brick building in San Diego. Original home to Thomas Whaley, this place served as the town's courthouse. Today, it is one of the most haunted houses in the USA Museum Shop located next door in the historic Verna House.
