The Little Italy Mercato takes place every Saturday from 9am to 1:30 in Downtown San Diego's famous Little Italy. Over 100 farmer, artisan, and food booths stretch along Date Street from Kettner to Union.

The farmers market features fresh, local produce, herbs, cut flowers, meats, eggs, cheese and more from over 25 California farmers. Food purveyors sell bread, olives, pastry, sauces, fish, oysters, coffee and more.

Dining vendors offer smoothies, paninis, crepes, Thai food, coffee drings and more. At the top of the market from State Street to Union are live music and MercArt artisans, crafts and gifts. Pet Place sells natural pet foods and accessories at the top of Date Street near Amici Park.
