Park Highlights

Tecolote Shores is a large, spacious grassy park on East Mission Bay, just south of the Hilton Resort. The park has a playground, picnic shelters and tables, barbecue grills, fire rings, park benches, a walking, jogging, and bike path, and a kite flying area.

The bayside park has a nice sandy beach with fire rings close to the Hilton Resort.

Tecolote Shores faces west with Fiesta Island a short distance across the channel, and SeaWorld San Diego to the southwest.

Permits are issued for gatherings up to 100 people, and one inflatable maximum.

Directions & Parking to Tecolote Shores

Take I-5 to the Clairemont Drive Exit, head West to East Mission Bay, then south past the Hilton.

Parking is free in these lots.
