Park Highlights
De Anza Cove is a large, grassy park with sandy beaches, and a cove at the far end. The park wraps around the northeast corner of
Mission Bay, near
Pacific Beach, and is popular for swimming, boating and water skiing. A lifeguard is on duty during the summer.
The bayside park faces south with views of East Mission Bay and the mobile home park on the opposite side of the cove. The park is rather secluded, especially near the cove.
De Anza Cove has a playground, tot lot, volleyball courts, picnic shelter and tables, barbecue grills, park benches, beaches with fire rings, and a path for walking, jogging and bike riding.
At the cove is a boat launch ramp and watersports rental facility. Mission Bay RV Resort is located west of the cove.
Permits can be issued for gatherings up to 750 people.
