Mission Bay Activity Hubs

So, what do you feel like doing? Are you in the mood for a park picnic, bayside stroll or jog? How about a sandy beach with fire rings, nestled in a small, secluded cove? Activity hubs on Mission Bay offer different experience than those on the coast. Here, the beaches are smaller, while the parks take center stage. In all, the atmosphere on the bay is more peaceful and laid back than that on the coast.

	Bahia Point West Mission Bay A shoreline park, a secluded sandy beach cove with fire rings, a resort hotel and marina, and a small shoreline park and beach beside the resort.		Bonita Cove West Mission Bay Sandy beaches, a shoreline park, a large sandy peninsula with a nesting area, and a secluded cove.
	Crown Point North Mission Bay A large grassy park with a boat launch, a wide, sandy beach with fire rings, a large campground with marina and boat launch, a wildlife reserve, and a walk/bike path.		Dana Basin South Mission Bay A shoreline park, two marinas, a resort hotel, and a landing with boat launch.
	De Anza Cove East Mission Bay Two large shoreline parks, a visitor center, a boat launch ramp, two coves with sandy beaches, and a small wildife refuge.		Mission Point West Mission Bay South Mission Beach City Beach is a beach on the Pacific Ocean. It is close to Mission Point Park. At the south end of South Mission Beach is a long narrow park with picnic areas and grass.
	Playa Pacifica East Mission Bay Two shoreline parks, a kite-flying area, a cove with a small sandy beach, a resort hotel and watersports rental facilty, a playground, and a walk/bike path along the entire bayfront.		Quivira Basin South Mission Bay A shoreline park, a landing, four marinas, a resort, a watersports center, and a conference center.
	Santa Clara Point West Mission Bay A narrow beach and grassy area, two watersports centers, a recreation center, and a boat launch.		SeaWorld South Mission Bay A shoreline park used mainly for boat launches, a world-class aquatics park, and a marina.
