Mission Bay RV Resort is located on De Anza Point on East Mission Bay. You check in at the office and drive through a security gate entrance. The resort extends from the gate entrance at the east end to the bay at the west end.
Mission Bay RV Resort has nice bayfront views on the west side. The campground is peaceful and people seem to be about their own business. The campground has picnic tables, park benches, many trees, laundry facilities, and a club house with pool tables and a basketball court.
Accessible from Mission Bay RV Resort is Dog Run, a paved path for jogging or walking, which goes around the periphery of De Anza Point. The path connects to the main concrete path at De Anza Cove Park, which goes all the way south to the end of Tecolate Shores Park. East of the Mission Bay RV Resort entrance is a beach with a private boat launch ramp and loading dock, available to those staying at the RV campground. Also, located on the beach is Mission Bay Jet Sports, which offers a wide selection of equipment rentals from jet ski’s, powerboats, paddle boats, bikes (tandems), Water-skiing, Wakeboarding, Motor Boat Rides, Wave Runners, Aqua Cycles, Paddle Boats, Kayaks and more.
Mission Bay RV Resort is popular with RV clubs and is family and pet friendly. Compared to Campland on the Bay, Mission Bay RV Resort is simple with relatively few amenities. People come to basically relax. The campground is secure on all side.
